I’m clever at dreaming…

I wish sometimes my tongue was broken so that I could perhaps stop saying all the nothingness and watch with silence as your eyes peels through my words to find my true intent. I’m young in bones and I try desperately hard to be a prolific lover. With only dreams made out to be a giant of a man, I hold strong tides on to the tomorrows that are yet to come. And in my mind I want to drink hard A and put the unopened bottle of wine on top of the mantel to feel more “suave’. I want to chase it with good stories from past, and feel it in my bones till they shake. Cry out with a howl and call out to all those dreamers and lonely hearts. And if they call back; shift my eyes real big like a shady person and smile real small.
I want to close my eyes and wake up being a legend. I need the sound of attention hitting my ear drums till my sleep catches up with me.

And I need a dance; I need to hold your secret hands and pull you close till I can feel your smile. I’ll talk soft and move slow. Promise me that it was real and everything will be okay. Then I wake up and realize its morning and the time elapsed to push forward for another day. I just caught myself dreaming again and my ceiling isn’t like before.
